Obinna Ndu, New Jersey

Obinna Ndu took a look at Pre-Paid Legal Services in 1999,  but was very negative towards the business opportunity. He'd tried others and hadn't had much success.  But he DID become a member.  Having access to his own attorney for pennies a day was, as he put it, 'no brainer.'

Four years later he bumped into a college friend, Rabu Gary.  Mr. Gary explained that he was self-employed, working with a company called Pre-Paid Legal Services. In fact, he enthusiaistically said he'd "FIRED HIS BOSS.'  That got Obi's attention!  Believing that the same opportunity had come around again, and this time trusting his friend, he signed up as an associate at noon.  By 5pm that same day, he was laid off when his entire department was unexpectedly eliminated!

Obi's favorite qoute is "A coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous."  As far as he's concerned, it was no coincidence that he lost his job within hours of becoming an Associate.

According to Obi,
"It was divine intervention. Realizing that I would never posses what I was unwilling to pursue, I jumped into this business with both feet. At that time I was only looking to bring home enough money to pay my bills because this was my only source of income.  But $300 turned into $500, then to several thousand dollars. Before I knew it, not only did I match my previous income, I exceeded it. So today I'm proud to say that I'm not UNemployed, I am unemployABLE.  You could not pay me to work for someone else!"
