My background is in corporate America as a Vice President in telecommunications.  My career provided me with great income, but in exchange for that income, my life became my work.   I had to give up my time, my interests, my friends and family.  I also had no security, because although I led the company with increased sales and profits, I was downsized and replaced by someone who would be willing to work more hours for less money.
